All members of the Cathedral Parish and all Catholics are invited to join us as we explore the different truths as captured by St. Louis de Montfort in his book, "True Devotion to Mary." In this book, and during this "extended multi-week retreat," we will challenge ourselves to grow in our self-awareness, knowledge of Mary, and love for Jesus. This exploration will provide growth in the virtue of humilty, and growing in humility we will begin to see ourselves as we really are -- precious and loved, yet weak, flawed in need of a merciful Savior. We will conclude on December 8th, 5:30-6:30, with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Rosary followed by Holy Mass with Bishop David Talley at 7pm, with activities to culminate with a consecreation of Mary.
We will meet in the Cathedral the evenings of:
- Nov. 18, 6:30-7:30pm, Knowledge of self (Deacon Alan)
- Nov. 25, 6:30-7:30pm, Knowledge of the blessed Virgin Mary (Deacon Rick)
- Dec. 2, 6:30-7:30pm, Knowledge of Jesus Christ, (Deacon Bill)
