Representatives of the Haiti Ministry along with medical doctors made their second trip to Layaye, Haiti this year to visit the people of our sister parish.  The week long trip included a medical clinic, delivering de-worming medicine and first aid items that were collected at our Vacation Bible School this past summer. Our Annual Blessing of the Pets was celebrated on Sunday, October 6th, two days after the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.  Approximately 150 pets and their owners were in attendance for a prayer service on the church grounds.  After the prayer service, Fr. Val, Fr. Rober, Dcn. Frank and Dcn. Bill blessed each animal and gave each of them a prayer card and St. Francis medal.  Among the pets were many dog breeds as well as a few snakes and chinchillas.  Read More
