O God,
ever faithful, ever true,
We thank You that You call us as church
to make the journey of faith together.
May Your Son Jesus,
the Crucified One, Now Risen,
show Himself to us that He might direct us from
fruitless toil to a generous catch for the Kingdom!
May His Holy Spirit lead us to
praise you with joy in His name.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

"Do This In Memory Of Me"

>Eight small group study sessions that take us on a journey through the church's liturgical tradition, from the time of the apostles to this present day, as together we prepare for the third edition of the Roman Missal...Small Group meetings starting this fall. To form or join a group, contact Aileen Palmer at 725-2700. If you are a 153 Initiative small group member, contact your facilitator as these sessions will also take place within our 153 groups. Trivia Night at IC - September 11

Make plans to compete in this favorite annual event. Form a team of 8 or sign up on your own and be placed on a team. The famous Brother Ignatius makes his rounds all over the city running trivia nights and is coming to the Cathedral on Saturday, September 11th. Stay tuned for more information on how to register or call Sue Anne Duffy to reserve a spot, it's usually a sell out 848-4134!

Blood Drive - September 19th

The American Red Cross will be at the Cathedral on Sunday, September 19th from 9 am - 2pm for our blood drive. Please consider giving blood and helping us make a difference in our community. Every two seconds someone in America needs blood. There is no substitute for human blood and almost everyone knows someone who needs blood. Just bring a photo ID, answer a list of health history questions and make your donation.

Parish Religious Education

PRE begins Sunday, September 12th, if you haven't registered yet you may still do so. These faith formation classes are for children in public or private schools in grades 1 - 8. Sacrament preparation begins in first grade for First Communion and 7th grade for Confirmation. Please click here for the Faith Formation page and to print a registration form.
